Happy face mask Friday everyone! It is the weekend. Hooray! And I am all down for a lazy chilled weekend. If you are new around here, welcome. Every week I try, test and review a different face mask for you all. Sort of like a try before you buy except, I am the one who is trying it and giving you a write up on it.
It’s time all of us turn to the superheroes, we all are. The mums, Grandmas, Aunties and sisters of the world. We are all superheroes in some way or another. This week’s mask is another for the eyes. Let’s put this superhero mask on and fly off into the superhero world for about 10 minutes or so. Yes to is a brand I used before and one I actually love.
This mask is to help recharge using the super blueberries, that contain resveratrol. Which helps to keep the skin hydrated and radiant. The Greek yogurt and probiotics help to balance the skin around your eyes and reduce the stressed looking skin. Made from 100% natural cotton and 95% of the ingredients are natural.
Let’s talk packaging. Bright, bold and blue. Just like blueberries. The lady that is on most of their masks, is dressed as a superhero using the mask I am reviewing today. Blueberries dotted across the packaging and brand and name printed boldly on the front, in a band of white or in white writing against the blue background. As most masks do, the instructions and have toos are on the back of the pack.
Always read the instructions, some masks really do surprise you. Random wear times, random ways of applying and all sorts. This mask is a 10 minute wear. I love that the instructions are in 3 simple, but informative steps. In both picture and written form. The detailing of the instructions is really handy because sometimes masks are weird.
Opening the packaging was really easy. Most sheet kind of masks I have tried and tested are straight in the packaging, but this had another plastic case with the mask folded up inside. Sort of folded in half.
The mask was a bold, bright blue as the mask and of course a key ingredient to this mask. Blueberries! Super easy to unfold and place on your face. At first, I thought I had the mask on upside down by the curved lines on the edges of mask. To look like a superheroes mask. But I looked at the lady on the front of the pack wearing it and mine matched.
As many of you may know, sheet masks aren’t usually ones I get on with. Is it I have a small face, or masks are huge? But this mask, maybe because it was purely for eyes seemed to fit better. I didn’t have to spend long adjusting it before I could fly off. The only thing is where it sat on my nose and over to my cheeks, I should have pressed it down a little more to fit there better.
Then I flew off to the sofa for 10 minutes of relaxation time. This is when you can’t say you have no time for skincare. Ok I just watched television. But you could have done some housework or cooked the dinner, whatever you fancy. Have a bath even!
10 minutes really did fly, and it was time to take off. My face had absorbed all the goodness of this mask and my mask was dry. Super easy to pull off and literally lifted off. I didn’t need to massage in the extra goodness or anything, I was good to go.
My eyes are an area that I should and need to concentrate on. You can tell a lot from your eyes and the area surrounding them. Such as being poorly, sick or stressed. Run down even. Mine often have black circles underneath and really, I should boost the quality of it by using masks like this. Eye creams even.
When I removed this, I was amazed at how good the result was. Less puffy and reduced if not no black circles under the eye. There was a slight glow to my skin and it definitely was hydrated and radiant. The boost I needed.
As a brand I love Yes to. This mask is really good to. It does as it says it should and that is really what you want out of a mask. Cost wise this mask is actually around the standard price of £3-£5. Love the detail they have put into this mask and the packaging. How the extra plastic case, keeps the mask in its best condition and ready for you to apply within seconds.
I would 100% recommend this mask. Go try it. We all get tired eyes, circles and its always good to boost that skin and keep it hydrated. Why wouldn’t you want to keep your face clean and healthy like you do anything else?
10 minutes is nothing and as I mentioned earlier, everyone can free 10 minutes to use this mask. it doesn’t cover all your face either, so the movements are still free, and all emotions can still work.
This is good for anyone as well which is very good for a brand to do. Have you tried Yes To? If so, would this mask be one you would try?
