So as the weather is getting colder, here in the UK anyway. I thought when not share my latest looks, go to items and trends I love. As you may know I am all about being comfy and warm. So layers are good for me.
First off lets talk about my winter attire. I love a Parker coat and I have had one for many years now. This is my new one and for a change I went for black. Its a good price as well so makes it even better. Its warm and good enough for me to wear out, to work and the weekends. I love a nice bobble hat, I needed a new one this year due to mine not going colour wise with my coat. This is good for the cold mornings and nights, and also keeps your ears warm when you have to defrost the car. Like I said this coat can be worn to work, weekends and to wear out. This is me wearing it with a casual weekend look.
I am loving sweatshirts and *jeans for the weekends. I tend to layer up with t-shirts and a sweatshirt. For some reason I am really loving this bottle green colour at the minute and I like to wear my bandana hairband with it because it ties the colours nicely. I like to wear boots or my converse with this look.
For something more girly, very on trend and something I am mostly known for. Social media wise anyway. That is a *pinafore. I love pinafores and dungarees actually and will wear these whenever and wherever I go. The colour of my shirt is a very on trend Autumn/Winter colour and one that I love. It kind of blends in with my hair colour. Its such a beautiful rusty colour. This shirt is actually off my local market and so is the cardigan. The shirt has the ruffle neck and its pleated all over. I can also wear this with jeans. The cardigan is handy for the colder days. Layers and warmth. I am also wearing my Dr Martens which is another on trend item to have at the minute.
For work I am lucky enough to be able to wear whatever I would like to. Maybe I should rock up in my pyjamas one day and see if anyone notices lol. I literally love to get out of bed chuck on some *jeans, a vest and a jumper. Add some boots and I’m ready to go. This jumper is from the Jack Wills Outlet Store and was a bargain. Its so warm and cosy and good for the days when you really didn’t make an effort but it looks like you did.
Another casual weekend look, which I get a lot of compliments on. Again its a simple look of a sweatshirt, jeans and trainers. I get so many people saying they love this jumper. I have not seen this anywhere apart from when I brought it in Alcudia, Mallorca. Its Adidas but I can’t even find it on their website. I love the raspberry pink colouring to this jumper. Again its a casual look but I am all for that this winter. I love jeans and these are comfy and smart enough to dress up or down depending on the occasion.
Of course I couldn’t go a whole look book without adding stripes. I love stripes and its another I am well known for wearing. This jumper is slim fit so I like to wear it with my pinafore. I love the Burgundy with the pink. Again I can wear this with trainers, boots or shoes.
My final look I want to share today is my bargain outfit. Or shall I say jumper. I am one for brands mainly. I can’t remember why we went to Asda but we did, I said whilst we are here lets just look around and straight away I found this jumper. Of course its striped! Its completely not what I would call winter colours, but actually the bright and bold colours brings positivity and warmth to the day. I have worn this a few times and people have complimented it and asked me where its from. Again I wear it with jeans but thats comfort. This is a jumper you could easily wear with a skirt or smart trousers.
What is your go to winter outfit? Is comfort key?
