Happy face mask Friday! Hope everyone is still following their skincare routines and have been looking after yourselves. If you have been following for a while you will know that mask wise, I naturally prefer ones you can apply over sheets, but I will try most masks out anyway. I use the brand simple a lot, it’s really good for my skin. I was actually recommended Simple as a brand when I had eyelash extensions about 8 years ago.
When I saw this mask in Boots the other week, I had to pick it up. Pollution is everywhere to be honest, wherever you are or go. Ok it can be worse if you commute or live in a city such as London, but it can be anywhere. Simple as a brand is used for sensitive skin and something that should be able to be used by anyone.
This mask is perfect for someone who is in pollution daily. It’s a light and soft mask made of natural fibres. It is infused with antioxidant vitamin E, vitamin B3 and Agave Americana. It infuses your skin with active nutrients and minimises the drying effect and instantly hydrates your skin.
As always, I like to read the instructions. You never know when a mask could change the time on or something like that. I then opened the sheet and made it best fit to my face. I liked that the folds were cut differently. I found this easier to fit to my face shape. It was full of goodness which could have been too much for me, but for someone in London for example would or may need the amount of goodness in the mask.
I left it on for 15 minutes as suggested. This is a pure chill time. A time to watch tv, youtube or a podcast. I also find this time good to meditate.
Because I have dry to normal skin, I tend to have worse patches when the weather changes or when my skin just fancies it. My forehead is the worst for dryness.
As I mentioned earlier, this mask had a lot more goodness than I needed. But If I travelled daily to London I could see my skin needing more of it. When I took the mask off, my face was glowing, and I was gently massaging the rest of the goodness in. Or near enough anyway. The mask just left the residue but no redness or rash. I do find Simple the best brand to use in as far as skincare products.
It has been a week since using this mask now and I can still say with my daily skincare routine and the mask my skin has definitely improved. The feel is so soft and hardly dry at all. It feels and looks in such a good condition. This mask has really helped to cleanse my face as well.
I would definitely recommend this mask, especially if you are in the city daily. You need to look after your skin and this mask puts you in the right track to do so. It has really good qualities that made me want to use this mask, such as the vitamins and minimises the drying effect. My skin naturally needs to be hydrated and this has definitely helped in doing this.
What masks have you been loving? What do you look for in a mask? Would you try this one?
This design is wicked! You definitely know how to keep a reader entertained.
Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well,
almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
