Its Friday, such a good feeling and perfect time for me to review another mask/skincare product and a really good time to put on a face mask ahead of the weekends antics. Not that we can do a lot these days but there is always time for skincare. Every week I review a different mask or product along the range of a skincare face mask and share my honest opinions of it. There is nothing better than healthy looking skin! 

Tonight’s mask is by a brand I use all the time and it has to be one of my favourite brands for skincare. That is Oh K, from their cute panda saying hello to the products themselves, honestly do love them and they seem to have got the perfect solution to create brilliant skincare products. As I am getting older now, wrinkles are naturally starting to form, even if the slightest I notice them sometimes. So I really wanted to try Oh K’s wrinkle rewind sleep tight face patches. Two things in that, that instantly say yes please, wrinkle rewind and sleep! 

I love a good sleep mask and though this isn’t stated to be a mask, it comes up in the face mask section and really you are wearing patches all night long. The patches are targeted to relax your muscles while you sleep. They should help lines and wrinkles appear softened by the time you wake. Enriched with avocado oils and pineapple extracts, that help to hydrate and even your skin tone. 

On to packaging, a simple ombre of blue to purple, which most of Oh K’s are. Well an ombre of some sort. Like I mentioned earlier there is always a little panda peering over the top corner and he not only looks cute. But tells us that this hasn’t been tested on animals and is cruelty free. Which is amazing and one I do try to look for in all my products. Small in the lower corner tells us, that there are in fact 8 patches in this, they are all to be worn at the same time. 

The back is boring really, as are many face mask packets. I don’t read much at all of the back, only the directions and the ingredients if need to. One thing I do like about Oh K’s packaging, not only the cute panda but the phase ‘happiness everyday’. It is the cute added extras like this that really make me smile but pull me closer to their products. This only has 4 steps to it, but all in picture form. I love picture form steps but sometimes its handy to have written steps as well. 

At first I thought oh no I am wearing this to bed and I have clean white bedding on. But in fact the actual patches have more a silicone texture than caped in liquid and oils. Because they have only given you the picture directions, you have to gage yourself which patch goes where. The sheets the patches are on, aren’t labelled and I literally went off of image number 2, which does give you the shapes etc. 

This needs to be on for 8 hours, so make sure you are going to be in bed at least for that long. For me that really isn’t a problem, I sleep a good 10 hours a night every night. The scent of these is strong but smells more of the pastry counter in a hotel buffet. Or Bakewell tart. I personally, couldn’t instantly tell you avocado and pineapple that’s for sure. It is a sweet smell and cake sort of scent. Maybe a pineapple upside down cake. 

Placing the patches on was ok once I worked out what was for where. But my face is on the smaller side, so my triangle down the nose was a little too big. That has always been a problem for me and sheet masks/patches. Really took me 5 minutes if that to play around and stick them on. They will stick good and well enough to wrinkle around in. 

Then you go to bed. Easy as and you wake up hoping to feel good and less wrinkly. When I have something like this on my face or any sleep mask, it always makes me concerned about my bedding or waking up with an allergic reaction. But after some getting comfortable I was sparko straight through till an hour before my alarm.

At that point I did take the patches off, I don’t know why but I just did and my chin one was missing. But that I didn’t really care about, I was back off to sleep and thought about that later. I actually could of took these off still asleep, I just remember I did it around that time. They don’t irritate or anything like that, I just thought its been 8 hours so I will take them off. 

These are one use so throw away the patches in the morning. For me they only had a little bit of stickiness left. But my sheets are good as new and no oil marks. A good thing for sure. They last the night as well which is good and I ended up finding my chin triangle on my collar bone weirdly enough. So I am not sure how it got there but it did. 

Today my skin has felt good all day and smoother. Clearer and less lines and wrinkles. How something that smells like a pineapple turnover cake, can clear and leave your skin looking younger is amazing to me. Not just for the scent either! A good night’s sleep is amazing for you anyway but adding this helps clean and keep the skin looking healthy. It has made me think I need to look after my eyes some more and the darker circles underneath. 

Top marks again for this. It does what it says it will and adds a little fun and cuteness to it with the little panda. I actually can’t fault this other than my collar bone is definitely less wrinkled today! Lol. They stick and they don’t make a mess. My face had some of the products left to absorb but it wasn’t a crazy amount, just enough for my final hours sleep. 

Price wise I think this is really affordable as is all of Oh K’s products. It’s £3.50. I would say that this is really affordable and why wouldn’t you pay £3.50 for something that actually works. It does as it says it will and it really is amazing.  

I would recommend this 100%, though I am only starting to see my skin age. My skin feels really good and looks it. It definitely wasn’t just a good nights sleep. What’s your go to face mask at the minute?
